5.10 CP, comparator
This function block is used to compare variables and/or constants with each
other. The following scans are possible:
•
I1 greater than I2.
•
I1 equal to I2.
•
I1 less than I2.
easy800 device allows the use of up to 32 comparators.
Contacts and Coils
A closed contact indicates:
Example:
Figure 122:Wiring the function block contacts
The contact of the function block is sent to markers.
Parametric programming of the function block inputs/outputs
When using the function block in the circuit diagram for the first time, use
OK to automatically enter the general display of function block parameters,
as shown in the figure on the left. Enter the function block settings here.
The display contains the following elements:
Inputs
I1 and I2: The signals present at inputs I1 and I2 are compared with each
other. You can assign the following operands to function block inputs:
•
Constant.
•
Markers MD, MW, MB.
•
Analog inputs IA01 to IA04:
•
IA01: Terminal I7.
•
IA02: Terminal I8.
•
IA03: Terminal I11.
•
IA04: Terminal I12.
