5.5 BV, Boolean operation
The function block enables the values to be combined in Boolean (logic)
operations. It has the following functions:
•
Masking out of particular bits from values,
•
Bit pattern recognition,
•
Bit pattern modification.
easy800 device allows the use of up to 32 Boolean operations.

When using the function block in the circuit diagram for the first time, use
OK to automatically enter the general display of function block parameters,
as shown in the figure on the left. Enter the function block settings here.
The display contains the following elements:

This parameter is used to set the type of operation required.
The factory setting of this parameter is AND.
