NOTE
For five and six UPS systems, batteries are shipped on a separate pallet. The batteries
are installed in the UPS module after the system is moved to the final installation
location. The weights for five and six UPS systems as they are rolled off the pallet are:

Five UPS system: 803.8 kg (1772 lb)
•
Six UPS system: 864.6. kg (1906 lb)

Slowly roll the system toward the rear of the pallet. With the system supported on each side, continue
rolling the system down the center of the ramp until the system is clear of the pallet. See

CAUTION
Only qualified service personnel (such as a licensed electrician) shall perform the electrical installation. Risk of
electrical shock.
NOTE
The BladeUPS is a transformerless UPS that requires an unbroken neutral from the AC
source. Installations with an upstream generator or dual source ATS that will open the
neutral (4 pole) will require either an isolation transformer in front of the UPS, or a 50 mS
overlap of the different source neutrals during the transition. For more information, talk
with your Eaton UPS sales specialist.
