Pulire tutte le canalizzazioni di
lubrificazione utilizzando spazzole
metalliche di diametro opportuno e
soffiando poi con aria compressa per
eliminari eventuali residui che
potrebbero limitare il passaggio
dell'olio.
Mettere guarnizione liquida DUCATI
sia sulla filettatura dei tappi (3), (4) e
(2) quindi rimontarli.
Bloccare tutti i tappi alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Accoppiamento
semicuscinetti-perno biella
Per verificare il gioco di
accoppiamento tra semicuscinetti e
albero motore è necessario utilizzare
una barretta (A) di “Plastigage PG-1
colore VERDE” posizionata sul perno
di biella.
Montare la biella con i semicuscinetti
(
7 ) originali (vedi procedura alla pagina
seguente) e serrare le viti ( 8 ) alla
coppia di 49 Nm .
Rimuovere la biella e verificare lo
spessore della barretta con l'apposita
banda di riferimento (B).
Se lo spessore rilevato,
corrispondente al gioco esistente,
non rientra nei limiti prescritti (gioco di
accoppiamento semicuscinetti di
biella-perno albero motore riportato
alla Sez. C 1.1), è necessario
sostituire i semicuscinetti o l'albero
motore.
Clean all lubrication ducts with
suitably sized metal brushes and blow
with compressed air to remove any
deposits preventing proper oil
circulation.
Apply DUCATI sealing compound to
the threads of the plugs (3), (4) and (2)
and then refit them.
Tighten the plugs to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
Big end bearings-crank pin
clearance
To check clearance between big end
bearings and crank pin, use a GREEN
“Plastigage PG-1” bar (A) on the
crank pin.
Fit the connecting rod with the
original bearings (
7 ) following the
procedure at next page. Tighten the
bolts (
8 ) to 49 Nm .
Remove the connecting rod and
check thickness of the bar looking at
the reference line (B).
If the thickness measured (the
clearance) is not within the specified
limits (con-rod bearings -crank pin
clearance is indicated in Sect. C 1.1),
replace the bearings or the
crankshaft.
