Introdurre metà del quantitativo
prescritto di olio in ogni stelo (Sez. C
2).
Pompare per permettere all'olio di
riempire tutto il volume interno.
Portare a fondo corsa sia cartuccia
ammortizzatore che il fodero esterno.
Introdurre il rimanente quantitativo di
olio nello stelo e misurare il livello.
Importante
Posizionare verticalmente lo
stelo quando si misura il livello.
Verificare che il livello sia il medesimo
in entrambi gli steli.
Olio raccomandato:
SHELL ADVANCE FORK 7,5 o
DONAX TA
Capacità Standard:
0,480 dm3 per stelo
Livello olio Standard:
104 mm
Il quantitativo di olio influisce sul
comportamento della forcella nei fine
corsa di compressione.
Un livello di olio alto aumenta il carico
in compressione, un livello basso lo
diminuisce.
Prima del rimontaggio eliminare l'olio
presente sulla molla (9) e sul
controdado (23).
Installare i seguenti componenti:
il tubo di precarica (10), la molla (9)
con la parte conica rivolta verso il
controdado (23) e la rosetta (8).
Attenzione
Durante il rimontaggio della
rosetta (8) comprimere la molla (9)
con una mano.
Avvitare il controdado (23) sulla
cartuccia (26) con una chiave
esagonale.
Con la stessa chiave tenere bloccato
il controdado e avvitare il tappo
superiore (7) completo di anello OR
sulla cartuccia (26).
Serrare il tappo superiore (7) alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Fill each leg with half the amount of
the recommended oil (Sect. C 2).
Pump up and down to fill whole inner
volume.
Take both damper cartridge and outer
sleeve to the end of their stroke.
Fill the fork leg with the remaining
amount of oil and measure oil level.
Caution
Keep fork leg vertical when
measuring oil level. Make sure oil
level is the same in both fork legs.
Recommended oil:
SHELL Advance Fork 7.5 or DONAX
TA
Standard capacity:
0.480 cu. dm each leg
Standard oil level:
104 mm
Oil quantity affects fork behaviour
when at the end of the compression
stroke.
High oil level increases compression
loading, low oil level will lessen it.
Remove oil from the spring (9) and
the lock nut (23).
Install the following components:
the preload tube (10), the spring (9)
with the taper side facing the lock nut
(23) and the washer (8).
Warning
When refitting the washer (8)
compress the spring (9) with a hand.
Tighten the lock nut (23) onto
cartridge (26) with a hexagonal
wrench.
Use the same wrench to hold the lock
nut and tighten the upper plug (7)
with O-ring onto the cartridge (26).
Tighten the upper plug (7) to the
specified torque (Sect.C 3).
