Display Features
etCO2
Monitoring
The
etCO2
waveform displays the instantaneous CO
2
concentration. The
etCO2
parameter box displays
the following parameters:
– End-tidal CO
2
(
etCO2
) — The level of CO2 in the airway at the end of expiration.
– Inspired CO
2
(
inCO2
) — The level of CO2 in the airway during the inspiration phase.
– Respiration Rate (
RRc
) — The patient’s respiration rate, derived from the
etCO2
signal by
calculating a n average rate over the two most recent breaths.
