Heating element
Disassembly:
• Carry out the preparations for dismounting
the boiler cover. (see chap. 5A.2)
• Dismount the boiler cover (1). (Fig. 1) (see
chap. 5A.2)
• Withdraw the insulating hoses from the
heating element contacts (2). (Fig. 1)
• Loosen the clamp of the dry running protection
(3) at the heating element. (Fig. 1)
• Unwind the dry running protection (4) from
the heating element (5). (Fig. 1)
• Loosen the three nuts, the lock washer and
the flat plug (6) at the heating element.
(Fig. 2)
• Remove the heating element, the screw
and the bottom part of the seal [(7)-(10),
Fig. 3, 4] towards the bottom.
• Withdraw the upper part of the seal (6)
towards the top. (Fig. 2)
Assembly:
• Assembly is done in the reverse order.
CAUTION: When replacing the heating
element, the dry running
protection must be replaced as
well. The sensor wire of the dry
running protection must be
wound around the heating
element according to the
description given in the chapter
'dry running protection'.
When mounting, observe that the two
seal parts are positioned exactly on top
of each other above and below the
cover. Additionally ensure that the
silicone hoses are moved over the
heating element contacts.
