Service Manual Cafitesse 100
•
The dosing unit consists of two pressure
reducers, which adjust the pressure in two
steps.
-
The first pressure reducer is set to
1.1 bar (16 psi).
-
The second pressure reducer is set to
0.4 bar (5.8 psi).
These settings result in the required flow
rate of 1.2 l/min. (20 cc/sec.)
The second pressure reducer must be
readjusted if the flow rate essentially
deviates from 1.2 l/min.
This can happen when the pressure of the
water supply is not within the range of
0.9 bar to 4 bar (13.1–58.0 psi).
•
- In order to increase the flow rate:
turn the adjustment button towards '+'.
- In order to reduce the flow rate:
turn the adjustment button towards '–'.
The cold water inlet valve requires
24 V DC. The hot water inlet valve
requires 24 V AC.
•
The Cafitesse 110 dispensers can additionally
be equipped with the kit 'café cool'.
•
This enables the delivery of cold beverages.
•
The control must be equipped with the
EPROM version 2.4 or a more actual
version which contains special functions for
the delivery of cold beverages (café cool).
The inlet valve of the cold water system is
controlled by an additional interface board.
•
Water supply:
- Connection to the water supply
- Maximum static water pipe pressure:
10 bar (145 psi)
- Minimum dynamic water pipe pressure:
0.9 bar (13.1 psi)
Water system
•
Water supply connections supply the separated
systems for hot and cold beverages.
Hot water system
•
The hot water system is identical to that of
the standard version dispenser.
Cold water system
•
The water runs from the connection via the
external dosing unit and an individual inlet
valve directly through the outlet elbow into
the housing for screened coil. (Fig. 2)
•
The cold water dosing depends on how
long the cold water inlet valve is opened
which is controlled by the microprocessor.
•
The time period for which the inlet valve is
opened depends on the programming of the
beverage volume on the control.
•
The cold water system is equipped with a
dosing system to guarantee a permanent
flow rate of 20 cc/sec.
•
Beverage strength and volume can only be
programmed exactly, when the flow rate is
correct.
