Overflow safety thermostat
Disassembly:
• Carry out the preparations for dismounting
the boiler cover (1). (Fig. 1)
(see chap. 5A.2)
• Dismount the control (see corresponding
chapter) and remove the insulating foils (8).
(Fig. 2)
• Loosen the fastening screw (2) and the
fastening washer (3) of the overflow safety
thermostat sensor (4). (Fig. 1)
• Press the sensor (4) of the overflow safety
thermostat out of the support. (Fig. 1)
• Disconnect the contacts (7) of the main
flexi cable harness from the overflow safety
thermostat (6). (Fig. 2)
• Loosen the screws (5) of the overflow
safety thermostat (6). (Fig. 2)
Make sure that the lock washers do
not get lost.
• Remove the overflow safety thermostat.
• Remove the wiring towards the sensor of
the overflow safety thermostat from the
support at the boiler wall.
Assembly:
• Assembly is done in the reverse order.
When mounting the wound wiring of
the overflow safety switch, unwind
approx. 3 windings from the sensor
side (upwards) and approx. 2 windings
of the thermostat side (downwards).
Mount the overflow safety switch and
the sensor. Place the wound wiring
behind the fastening strap of the boiler
insulation.
Make sure to suspend the insulation
foil (8) beneath the control. When
applying the I

C interface boards
espresso/café cool, place two small
insulating foils (9) between the
interface board and the overflow safety
thermostat. (Fig. 2, 3)
