8.3.1 Disinfection

Use only DencoHappel approved disinfectants (see table) to avoid incompatibility
with unit components.

Wear disposable gloves when handling disinfectant and applying disinfectant on
unit. For your own safety, wear protective goggles for overhead working to protect
yourself from dripping remains of disinfectant. Always ensure an adequate room
ventilation.

Dilute the disinfectant in accordance with the specified concentration and fill it in
a spray bottle. Please consider the user notes and safety data sheets from the
disinfectant manufacturer.

Never spray directly onto the unit with disinfectant!

(Risk of damage to the unit, electrical short circuit after restarting).

Spray the disinfectant on a soft, lint-free disposable wipe (e.g. KIMTECH Prep
7622, Company Kimberly-Clark) until the wipe is sufficiently wet. Do not use
scrubbing sponges, microfiber cloths or paper towels

Clean the surfaces mentioned in the description below by wet-and-wipe process.
Always make sure of a complete wetting and the recommended exposure time by
the manufacturer. Re-wipe with clean water. To do so, use a second clean cloth.
Use two new cloths for each unit. Dispose of the cloths after the work is finished.
