8.3.3 Filter replacement according to No. B (every 24 months)
Follow the points 1-6; 8-11; 33-37 from Chapter 8.3.2.
8.3.4 Cleaning and repairing according to No. C (every 3 or rather 6 months
Follow the points 1-15; 23-26; 28-37 from Chapter 8.3.2.
The cleaning procedure according to C leaves out the cleaning / disinfecting of
the cover, the fan and the interior wall of the casing.
8.3.5 Annual maintenance and cleaning of the SWIRL® cover by trained specialists according to No. D
Follow the points 1-15 from Chapter 8.3.2; leave out 6-11 if you do not want to
change or clean the filter.
16.
Open the service opening and remove the lateral plugs of the cover from
the switch cabinet. Thread the cable through the ceiling opening. Loosen
the pitfalls located on the cover and carefully remove the cover.
17.
Put the cover with the right side down on a clean horizontal surface, such
as a table. Before you do so, line the surface with paper. Loosen the fixa-
tion screws of the inner shutter cover. Remove the washer and lift the
cover.
18.
Now you see the adjustment mechanism of the drive motor. Lift the motor
carefully. It is supported by a spring. Using your free hand, lift up the setting
ring (located under the motor) and pull it a few centimeters out of the pinion
gear drive. Let down the motor carefully. Use both hands to lift the ring.
Hold the ring at two points, opposite to each other.
19.
Place the ring aside on a flat horizontal place. Now clean the ring, cover
and adapter. Hygiene units with a white coverage on the backside of the
cover can also be cleaned and disinfected with a moist cloth. Standard
units with a black cover can only be cleaned with a dry cloth. Then disinfect
by using a cloth that is sprayed with disinfectant and wipe the parts of the
cover. The ring can also be disinfected.
20.
Carefully clean the inner surfaces of the branch connection of the sensor
with a dry cloth, e.g. paper towel
21.
When everything is dry again, re-mount again with care. The position of
the ring is irrelevant for the function of the unit. A synchronization puts it into
correct position after restarting the supply voltage.
22.
Continue with No. 23, or no. 27 if you want to clean only the cover Chapter
8.3.2.
HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE!
Disconnect the unit from the power supply (point 3)! Make sure that the intercon-

alive before installation.
RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE UNIT!
Do not spray disinfectant or other liquids on the motor, termi-
nal block or sensors.
RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE UNIT!
Tighten the screws hand-tight only (max torque 2.5 Nm)!
