System 2
System 2 is a system structure with solar heat connected to an external heat
source tank (EHS tank) and an extra buffer tank (CTC EcoTank for example). The
system allows for a larger solar collector surface since it carries a greater volume
of water.
Charging conditions
Charging starts when B31 is 7°C warmer than B42.
Buffer tank without coil:
Charging stops when there is a difference of 3°C between B31/B30 or when the
charge temperature is reached.
Buffer tank with coil:
For a tank with a solar coil, the charging stops instead when B31 is 3°C warmer
than B42.
Charging of the EHS tank compares sensor B41 to sensor B47.
The buffer tank (02) may also have a solar coil; this means that the heat
exchanger (F2), pump (G32) or non-return valve (Y11) is not required.
