LIFT ADJUSTMENT AND TESTING PROCEDURE
(should be carried out in each detail by the installer)
• CARRIAGE MECHANICAL ALIGNMENT
1) Press the UP push-button and check that the motor is running in the correct direction (carriages should rise); swap two phases in the terminal board
if needed.
2) Raise the carriages up to approx. 50 cm and measure height. If they are not at the same height, adjust as follows:
a) remove the retainer panel (6, Fig. 16) from carriage P1 and loosen the safety rope clamp on carriage P2 (5, Fig. 13);
b)raise the lift using suitable equipment until lifting the split nuts out of their seats so that they can be turned;
c) turn the split nuts right or left depending on whether you need to raise or lower P1 carriage with respect to P2 carriage (one turn of the split nuts dis-
places carriage by 6 mm);
d) bring the carriage back to the correct position over the nut screws with the split nuts positioned as shown in Figure 19.
• TESTING OF LOADED LIFT OPERATIONS
• CHECKING SAFETY DEVICE AND LIMIT SWITCH (SQ1, Fig. 1) AS DESCRIBED IN PARAGRAPH 6.1.3
• FUNCTIONAL TEST OF MAXIMUM HEIGHT LIMIT SWITCH (SQ2, Fig. 1) AS DESCRIBED IN PARAGRAPH 6.1.4
• FUNCTIONAL TEST OF MINIMUM HEIGHT LIMIT SWITCH (SQ3, Fig. 1) AS DESCRIBED IN PARAGRAPH 6.1.4
• MOVING PARTS LUBRICATION CHECK
