Hardware Problem 1
The DEC MicroServer does not power up.
Solutions:
If the fans do not turn and the power indicator does not light, perform the
following checks:
1.
Make sure the power cord is correctly connected.
•
Check that the connector is properly inserted into the socket on the
control panel of the DEC MicroServer.
•
Determine whether the plug on the end of the cord is properly inserted
into the wall socket.
2.
Ensure that there is power to the wall socket.
3.
Determine whether the DEC MicroServer’s circuit breaker has been
tripped. If it has, reset the circuit breaker (shown in Figure 1–1), and
power up the unit again.
NOTE
Figure 1–1 shows the control panel of the four-port DEC MicroServer.
