If the logging state for both SNAEVL and EVL is ON, you might not have
enabled logging on your terminal. Use the following DCL command to enable
logging:
$ REPLY/ENABLE=NETWORK
If you do not receive event messages, check whether you have set your terminal
to NOBROADCAST. If you have set NOBROADCAST, you cannot receive
messages. Check this setting with the following DCL command:
$ SHOW TERMINAL
If necessary, issue the following DCL command to set your terminal to
broadcast mode:
$ SET TERMINAL/BROADCAST
If you still do not receive event messages, check whether you have screened out
OPCOM messages with the following DCL command:
$ SHOW BROADCAST
If necessary, issue the following DCL command to set broadcasting for OPCOM
messages ON:
$ SET BROADCASE=OPCOM
