The DEC MicroServer Display Panel
Each time you power up the DEC MicroServer, it runs an internal test and
then loads the Gateway-ST software. The unit uses a seven-segment display
on the control panel to show how this test and load sequence is progressing.
The DEC MicroServer also uses this display to:
•
Show that the unit is connected to the electrical supply.
•
Report any errors that the internal test detects.
•
Indicate the progress of a dump sequence.
Figure C–1 shows the location of the display on the control panel of the
DEC Microserver. The following sections describe the DEC MicroServer
display.
