11. Remove the spring (14) (Figure 23-17, Page 23-15) .

12. Inspect the key (15) for damage. Replace as necessary.
13. Slide the moveable sheave (16) off the fixed sheave (17).
DRIVEN CLUTCH INSPECTION
1. Inspect the cam for excessive wear. Replace it if necessary.
2. Inspect the drive buttons (2) for excessive wear (Figure 23-18, Page 23-16) . Replace if necessary. To remove
the drive buttons, remove the socket-head cap screws (1) and then the buttons.
