Static IP
Choose this option if your ISP provides you with a static
(permanent) IP address and does not assign it dynamically,
and use the corresponding information from your ISP to
complete the following fields:
•
IP Address:
Enter the IP address of the WAN port that
can be accessible from the Internet.
•
Subnet Mask:
Enter the IP address of the subnet mask.
•
Default Gateway:
Enter the IP address of default
gateway.
•
Primary DNS Server:
DNS servers map Internet
domain names to IP addresses. Enter the IP address of
the primary DNS server. You can get the DNS server
address from your ISP.
•
Secondary DNS Server:
(Optional) Enter the IP
address of the secondary DNS server.
