activation code
A code you receive when you create a ūmi account on the ūmi Connect website. You enter your
activation code when you set up ūmi on your TV. See
Create your account online .
block
To mark a person as someone from whom you do not want to receive ūmi calls, messages, or videos.
When you block a person, that person cannot communicate with you through ūmi. You can unblock any
person that you block. See
Block a sender , Block someone in your ūmi call history , and Edit your
blocked list .
Checkmark
A button on the remote. Press to select the item that is highlighted on your TV screen. See Get to know
your remote .
clover
A menu that appears on your TV screen. The clover is your home base for accessing all ūmi features on
your TV. The clover includes five options:
Calls , Contacts , My videos , Messages ,
and Settings . See Get to know the clover .
console
Along with the camera, the main component of the ūmi system. You connect the console to the camera
and to your TV. See
Connect the camera to the ūmi console and Connect the ūmi console to your TV .
favorite
A contact that appears at the top of your contacts list. If you have more than one favorite, they appear at
the top of the list in alphabetical order, before the rest of your contacts. You designate a contact as a
favorite when you create or edit the contact. See
Create a new contact or Edit a contact .
friend request
A request to be added to another ūmi member’s contact list. See Send a friend request or Respond to
a friend request .
Home
A button on the remote. Press to display the clover if it is not displayed. See Get to know your remote .
member
A person who has a ūmi account and service plan.
menu
A grouping of options that appears for a feature when you select one of the five clover icons. Menus can
appear in clover form or as a long bar. See
