PNP Session
This screen displays the value of the PNP parameters currently in effect. The source of the
parameter is displayed in parenthesis where relevant.
To display information about PNP parameters:

Administration > PNP > PNP Session
.
The following fields are displayed:

Administrative Status
—Whether PNP is enabled or not.
•
Operational Status
—Is PNP operational.
•
PNP Agent State
—Indicates whether there is an active PNP session. The possible
values are
Discovery
Wait
;
Discovery

Not
Ready
;
Disabled
;
Session
;
Session
Wait
.
•
Transport Protocol–
Displays the PNP agent session information.
•
TCP Port
—TCP port of the PNP session
•
Server IP Address
—IP address of PNP server
•
Username
—Username to be sent in PNP packets
•
Password MD5
—Password to be sent in PNP packets
•
Discovery Timeout
—Discovery timeout configured
•
Session Interval Timeout
—Session Interval timeout configured (appears only when
PNP Agent State
is
Waiting
)
•
Remaining Timeout—
Value of remaining timeout.
NOTE
Click the
Resume
button to immediately take the PnP agent out of the waiting state, in the
following way:
•
If the agent is in the Discovery Waiting state, it is set to the Discovery state.
•
If the agent is in the PnP Session Waiting state, it is set to the PnP Session state.
