5.6 Timers
The controller has an internal clock which is used not only to keep time, but also to ensure that programed
events happen at the correct times. The following sections are used to configure settings associated with timing
functions.
CAUTION
THE CONTROLLER HAS AN ON-BOARD BACKUP BATTERY TO KEEP TIME EVEN WHEN THE
MAIN POWER IS NOT SUPPLIED TO THE UNIT. THIS BATTERY HAS AN UNPOWERED (NO
MAIN POWER) LIFETIME OF APPROXIMATELY FIVE YEARS.
