Even if you set the drive mode to <

>, the camera will still
shoot in single shooting mode.
Even if [ AF operation ] is set to [ Server AF ], tapping on the screen will
focus on the image with [ One-Shot AF ].
Tapping on the screen in magnified view will not focus or take the picture.
In the <
A
> mode, if [ FlexiZone - Multi ] or [

Touch shutter:
Disable ] is set, focusing cannot be performed by tapping on the screen.
If you shoot by tapping on the screen with [
z
1: Image review ] set to
[ Hold ], you can press the shutter button halfway to take the next shot.
Note that under [

3: Custom Controls ], if [
V
Shutter butt. half-
press ] is set to [ Metering start ] or [ AE lock (while button pressed) ],
the picture will be taken without performing AF.
If you use [

3: Custom Controls ] to assign a button with [ ONE
SHOT z AI SERVO/SERVO ] or the function that activates the metering
timer (p.495), touch shutter shooting cannot be performed when you hold
down the respective button.
You can also set the touch shutter with [
z
5: Touch Shutter ] (the [
z
3 ]
tab in <
A
> mode).
To shoot with bulb exposure, tap on the screen twice. The first tap on the
screen will start the bulb exposure. Tapping it again will stop the bulb
exposure. Be careful not to shake the camera when tapping on the
screen.
