Cleaning materials and
tools
Only use suitable cleaning materials and tools for
the cleaning and maintenance of the milking
robot, like:
A soft brush for manure and milk spills
A soft cloth for control panels
Directions for cleaning materials indicated with
this symbol:
Use mild cleaning agents to clean the milking
robot. Apply the cleaning agent with a sponge or
soft cloth. Aggressive cleaning agents can
damage various parts of the milking robot.
Don’t use your fingers or nails to clean because of
the risk of injury.
Don’t leave cleaning materials like brooms,
brushes or pit forks standing in the proximity of
the milking robot. They obstruct the movements
of the machine and people or animals and may
cause the risk of serious injury.
Water hose or high
pressure cleaner
When using a high-pressure cleaner, the water
pressure may not exceed 3 bar (44 psi). It’s
recommended to use a water hose instead.
The milking robot contains parts that are
sensitive to water, specifically these parts may
never
be cleaned with a water hose or pressure-
cleaner:
Control cabinets
Sensors
After cleaning
After the cleaning duties the milking robot must
be put in its normal operating condition. Close all
valves that you have opened to prevent
congestion by dirt or dust.
