5. Select the
USE THE FOLLOWING IP ADDRESS
option (1).
6. Set the IP address (2).
In this example the IP address is set to 10.6.1.100. This address is high
enough not to interfere with the automatically distributed addresses.
NOTE : in case of a double box system, the IP address of the second
box will be set to 10.6.1.101
7. Enter the values written down for Subnet mask (3) and Default
gateway (4).
8. Select the
USE THE FOLLOWING DNS SERVER ADDRESSES
option (5).
9. Enter the value written down for DNS server (6).
10. Click the
ADVANCED
button (7).
This will open the
ADVANCED TCP
/
IP SETTINGS
screen (see Figure 16-6 ).
