Connection and communication overview

Ethernet communication Communication between Panel PC, PLC, 2D
camera, 3D camera and router is all Ethernet
communication.
Please note that the 2D camera is directly
connected to the Panel PC.
The 3D camera is connected through the switch.
Also the PLC’s are connected through the switch.
Via the master box the slave is connected to the
outside world.
Can communication The following communications are CAN
communications:
 between panel PC and ID milking box, ID feed
station;
 between PLC and the air valve blocks;
 to the measurement circuit board.
Air valve blocks The air valve blocks have to be set to the correct
address in order to operate properly (see Table
17-1 ).
The addresses have been factory programmed,
but in case of issues, take care to set the
addresses before replacing the units, mentioned
in Table 17-1 .
