  ATTENTION! Risk of damage to persons and property! 

The boom colliding with persons or objects can result in injuries or property 
damage! 

– 

Prior to unreeling the carrying cable ensure that no one is in the work area. 

– 

Ensure that the boom does not strike against surrounding objects when unreeling 
the carrying cable. 

 

NOTE! 

When working at the load cable, always wear protective gloves! 

 

 

 
4. 

Turn the telescoping mast so that it is 
not in the range of the drawbar or a 
support. 

5. 

Carefully unreel the carrying cable until 
the boom (1) is perpendicular to the 
ground. 

6. 

Ensure that the boom (arrow) is not 
touching the ground. 

7. 

Ease the tension on the carrying cable 
by unreeling.
