The ground composition and the vicinity
must
be checked prior to setting up the device.
WARNING! Danger to life!
Overturning the device can result in severe or fatal injuries and extensive
property damage.
Heed the following instructions before setup:
–
Do not setup the device near embankments and slopes.
–
Wind force in excess of wind force 6 (45 km/h) can overturn the device. Only
setup the hoist at low wind force levels. Immediately dismount the device if there
is a sudden build up of wind. Pay attention to local conditions. Local wind force
between two buildings is stronger than elsewhere in the vicinity.
–
Check outriggers for damage.
–
Never exceed the specified values of the tilting danger limit. Do not exceed the
values on the load diagram.
–
Check the substrate for required stability prior to setting up the device. Rain and
thaw weather can soften the ground. The load capacity of the substrate must be
at least 0,3 N/mm² when using the supplied outrigger pads.

Do not set up the device on loose ground, (sand, grass, slush, etc.)

Contact with power lines causes life-threatening injuries.

Prior to using the device maintain adequate clearance to freely suspended live
power lines, see "Safety Distance to Power Lines".
WARNING! Personal injury!
Components can cause crushing injuries.

Wear protective clothing.
–
Do not position yourself in the slewing range when operating the device.
–
Operate the device carefully.
