MPSCONF.EXE
The MPSCONF program allows you to configure (see
Chapter 4
)
the Multiport Spooler VIII according to your requirements.
MPSCONF.HLP
A help file designed to assist you with the MPSCONF program.
MPSDOS.COM
The MPSDOS printing-interface program for use under DOS.
MPSSETUP.BAT
Installs the software package on your hard disk under DOS.
MPSWIN30.DRV
and
MPSWIN31.DRV
The MPSWIN printing-interface program for use under Windows 3.0
or Windows 3.1/3.11 respectively.
MPSWIN.HLP
A help file designed to assist you with the MPSWIN program.
MPSVIII.TXT
Contains information about Multiport Spooler VIII updates and new
features not documented in this manual. Use README to display this file.
PSEND.EXE
This program facilitates transmission of files and commands to the Multiport
Spooler VIII. The command arguments are described below.
PSEND [QUIET] port "command" ["return_message"]
“QUIET” is optional; it suppresses screen messages.
“Port” is the PC port used to send the file. The choices are LPT1, LPT2,
LPT3, COM1, COM2, COM3, and COM4. When using the serial ports, the
communication parameters can be declared directly from the command line
by entering them after the “port” argument:
... COMx:data_rate,parity,data_bits,stop_bits ...
“Command” is the command string or file to be sent to the MPS-VIII. The
command string or filename must be enclosed within double quotes (").
Up to 80 characters may be used for this field. Characters not directly
represented on the keyboard may be included in the string by typing their
hexadecimal equivalent within parentheses.
