Enter the letter designation of the drive containing the MPSWIN diskette.

Choose the type of Multiport Spooler VIII that is connected to the PC.

At this screen (shown below), identify for SETUPWIN the PC port connected
to the Multiport Spooler VIII. The possible choices are COM1 through COM4
and LPT1 through LPT3.
If the connected port is a parallel port, you are finished with this screen—go
to
Section 6.3.3
. If the connected port is a serial port, make sure its
parameters match those of the MPS-VIII port at the other end of the cable:
Baud Rate
The default data rate (“baud rate”) is 9600 bps. You can choose 300, 600,
1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19,200, or 38,400 bps.
