5.2.2 Evaluating with the BurnInTest tool from PassMark
If a separate application is not developed or used to evaluate the temperature, then B&R recommends using the
BurnInTest software tool from PassMark.
Standard and professional versions of BurnInTest are available. In addition to the software package, there are
also various loopback adapters (serial, parallel, USB, etc.) and test CDs/DVDs available. A corresponding load
can be generated on the system and peripheral devices based on the extent of the software and existing loopback
adapters.

Test properties may need to be fine-tuned depending on the availability of loopback adapters and DVDs.
