Editing Password and saving the settings.
To enter password in ADR241B refer following steps
In ADR241B all the Protection setting windows are password protected. Procedure to
enter the password is same for all windows to enter the password follow these steps.
IAMAG = 00000
IBMAG = 00000
This window shows actual Primary load current as per the CT
Primary selection.
Press the Left arrow key (
) to go to the Main Menu.
MEASUREMENT
The relay will display
MEASUREMENT
in Main Menu.
Press the Plus / up arrow key (+ /
) to move to the next option.
General Setting
Password protected window for
“General Setting’’
setting i.e.
New Password, Unit ID, Com Port, Set RP Parity, Set RP Baud
Rate, Frequency, PH CT Secondary, PH CT Primary, EF CT
Secondary, EF CT Primary, TCS Enable, TCS Delay, 50 BF, 50
BF Delay, 50 BF_I and 50 BF Reset, Active Group, DR Pre-
Trig time, Local Ctrl Enable and IEC61850.
Press the Left arrow key (
) to move to the next option.

Editable setting
Enter the previously set password, by using the Plus / up arrow
key (+ /
) or the minus / down arrow key (- /
).
Note: Default password setting is ‘0000’
Press the Left arrow key (
) to move to the next option.
New Password
0000
Editable setting
By using the Plus / Up arrow key (+ /
) or the Minus / Down
arrow key (- /
) the desired New Password can be set. The
setting range is from 0000 to 9999.
Press the Left arrow key (
) to move to the next option.
