8.10 Adjusting the roller harrow
The roller harrow can only be used in combination
with implements with RoTeC Control coulters.
This setting affects the seed placement depth.
Check the seed placement depth after the adjustment.
8.10.1 Roller harrow tines - Adjusting the pitch
1. Raise the implement until the harrow tines are directly above the ground, but not touching it.
2. Apply the tractor parking brake, switch the tractor engine off and remove the ignition spanner.
3. Change the pitch of the tines relative to the
ground by repositioning the safety pin for
the tube (Fig. 229/1)


The deeper the safety pin for the tube
(Fig. 229/1) is inserted in the adjuster segment,
the flatter the pitch.
8.10.2 Roller harrow tines - Adjusting the working depth
1. Raise the implement until the harrow tines are directly above the ground, but not touching it.
2. Apply the tractor parking brake, switch the tractor engine off and remove the ignition spanner.
3. The working depth of the harrow tines is
adjusted by repositioning the safety pin for
the tube (Fig. 230/1)


segment, the greater the working depth.
