Computer Originated Commands
These are the commands sent by the host computer, via RS-485 or RS-232 to a Power Supply.

Requests the Power Supply to report the status of the weld data buffer. Power Supply returns
STATUS
with either “
OK
” or “
OVERRUN.
”

TYPE

Requests the Power Supply to return the type of welder, release number, and revision letters.

COUNT
<crlf><lf>

Description
Requests the Power Supply to report the number of weld data accumulated since the last data
collection. Power Supply returns the COUNT even if there is no weld data available.

ERASE

Requests the Power Supply to erase all the weld reports.

SYNC

Description
Provides synchronization of the commands. The Power Supply returns SYNC command back
to the host computer.

Requests the Power Supply to report the sampled Current data of the last weld. Power Supply
