The “no” command disables the configured spanning-tree for a VLAN. By default,
spanning tree is disabled.

resets the PVST+ cost to its default value. The default PVST+ cost is 4.

The “no” command resets the PVST+ Forward-time/Hello-time/Maximum-age/
Bridge priority to its default.
The default for each of the parameter is given below:
•
Forward time: 15 seconds
•
Hello-time: 2 seconds
•
Max-age: 20 seconds
•
Priority: 32768
Note:
The following formula has to be satisfied when configuring the forward-time, hello-
time, and max-age:
((forward-time - 1) * 2) >= max-age &
& max-age >= ((hello-time + 1) * 2).
