1. To enable the interrupt in HP
®
BASIC, the following command is executed:
"ENABLE INTR 7;2"
2. After this command is executed, an SRQ from the Test Sets’ GPIB interface will cause the application
program to branch to the subprogram specified in the ON INTR command (see previous step).

The number 7 is the Interface Select Code for the
Test Set’s GPIB, and the number 2 is the decimal
equivalent for bit 1, the SRQ Received bit in the
GPIB Status Register.
