Number of groups

Select the number of process groups required.
Channel Allocation

Select the recording channels to assign to each group.
Note.
Each recording channel can be assigned to one group only.
Channels can be assigned to groups in any order.
Language
Select the language to be used to display standard user prompts and
menu items.
Note.
A new language selection does not take effect until the
configuration is saved.
Global alarm ack source
Select a signal source used to acknowledge all active alarms in both
Process Groups simultaneously. Refer to Appendix A, page 146 for a
description of the available sources.
Note.
This signal is edge-triggered. A rising edge (inactive to active) or
falling edge (active to inactive) triggers global alarm acknowledgement.

If this parameter is changed, internally-recorded data files are recreated and unarchived data is lost.
