Alarm tag
Enter an Alarm Tag to identify the alarm when it is displayed in the Chart
views (if Chart Annotation is enabled – see pages 43 and 83) and Alarm
Event log (20 characters maximum).
Refer to Appendix F, page 180 for further information regarding character
use in tags.

The following parameters are applicable to process, latch and annunciate alarms only – see
Figs. 7.11 and 7.12, page 95 and Fig. 7.13, page 96.
Trip
Set the value, in engineering units, at which the alarm is to activate.
Hysteresis

Set the hysteresis value in engineering units.
Time hysteresis
Set the time hysteresis in seconds.
When an alarm trip value is exceeded, the alarm does not become active
until the time hysteresis value has expired. If the signal goes out of the
alarm condition before the time hysteresis has expired, the hysteresis
value is reset.
