This chapter introduces the different operating modes available on your NBG7815. Or simply how the
NBG7815 is being used in the network.
4.2 Mo de s
This refers to the operating mode of the NBG7815, which can act in:

Sta nda rd Mo de
: This is the default device mode of the NBG7815. Use this mode to connect the local
network to another network, like the Internet. Go to Section 5.3 on page 37 to view the

Bridg e Mo de
: Use this mode if you want to extend your network by allowing network devices to
connect to the NBG7815 wirelessly. Go to Section 6.4 on page 42 to view the
