Chapter 4 TRAP Messages
Triggering Criteria
1. OSPF non-virtual neighbor status change may be to normal
direction, or may be the status regress caused by abnormal
cases.
2. The configuration for SNMP-related OSPF sending trap is cor-
rect.
Recommended
Operations
Please check whether OSPF neighbor status change is normal, if
not, check whether the router system is running normally, and
whether the link connection is normal.
Binding variables
ospfRouterId (router ID used to distinguish the routers in au-
tonomous system, and the value is only value)
OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.14.1.1
ospfNbrIpAddr (OSPF neighbor interface IP address, which might
be another interface address in connection without address)
OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.14.10.1.1
ospfNbrAddressLessIndex (the IP address index on interface mib
table, which corresponding to OSPF neighbor interface)
OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.14.10.1.2
