Chapter 2 Alarm

Handling Procedure

Check whether the flag of C2 signal sent from NR8250 upstream equipment is correct,

which is 0X12 for VC4 and 0x02 for VC12.

If yes, go to step 2.

If no, modify the configuration.

The alarm is caused by RTUB board failure. Replace the board.

Alarm Information: The alarm is reported if tributary unit signal flag is mismatched.

Alarm Type: Communications Alarm

Sub-code Description

Each subcode represents a timeslot. The former 63 timeslots are used for optical port

1,and the latter 63 timeslots are used for optical port 2.

Effect on the System

All the relay receive signals transmitted on the SDH link may be interrupted.

Possible Causes

The signal flag received by NR8250 equipment is inconsistent with that sent by the

upstream equipment.

The RTUB board that reports the alarm is faulty.

Handling Procedure

Contact the network engineer.
