Handling Procedure
1.
Check whether the cables at port PS1 and PS2 of RPUA are connected and operating
properly.
l
If yes, go to step 2.
l
If no, correctly connect them.
2.
Replace the RPUA board.

Alarm Code: 134237737
l
Alarm Information: The alarm indicates that a fault occurs at the regenerator section.
The local end cannot identify the frame headers after receiving five consecutive frames
from the remote end, that is, the equipment is out of frame.
l
Alarm Level: Major
l
Alarm Type: Equipment Alarm
Sub-code Description
l
Sub-code 1: Optical port 1 on the RTUB board;
l
Sub-code 2: Optical port 2 on the RTUB board.
Effect on the System
The number of Bit24 error codes in the signal received by the board exceeds the threshold.
This alarm may affect the signal service quality.
Possible Causes
l
The alarm may be generated together with other high-level alarms.
l
The fiber connector is not clean or the optical module is not matched.
l
The signal source of the upstream equipment is faulty.
l
The NR8250 equipment fails to receive upstream service signals.
Handling Procedure
1.
Check whether there are higher-level alarms reported.
l
If yes, handle these alarms by referring to the handling suggestions.
l
If no, go to step 2.
2.
Check whether the fiber cable and optical module between NR8250 equipment and
upstream equipment are connected properly.
l
If yes, go to step 3.
l
If no, re-install the fiber and optical module.
3.
Check whether the board (for sending signals) of NR8250 equipment and upstream
equipment are working properly.
l
If yes, go to step 4.
