Effect on the System

The lightning protector fails.

Possible Causes

The lightning protector is damaged.

The lightning protector's base is of bad contact.

The lightning protector's detecting cable is disconnected or of bad contact.

The monitoring unit's socket is of bad contact or disconnected.

The monitoring unit is faulty.

Handling Procedure

The lightning protector is damaged. Replace the lightning protector;

Check whether the lightning protector's air break switch is closed;

Check whether the lightning protector's base is of bad contact;

Check whether the contact of the lightnring unit is faulty.

Check the monitoring unit's connection;

Replace the monitoring unit.
