2.2.10 134237743 MS-RDI

Alarm Property

Alarm Code: 134237743

Alarm Information: The alarm is reported if the quality of SDH frame signal received by

the board degrades and Bit8 error codes of the higher order path exceed the threshold.

Alarm Level: Major

Alarm Type: Communications Alarm

Sub-code Description

Sub-code 1: Optical port 1 on the RTUB board;

Sub-code 2: Optical port 2 on the RTUB board.

Effect on the System

The signal transmitted on the SDH link is interrupted.

Possible Causes

The receive unit of uplink signal source equipment detects invalid signals.

For

example, the signals contain the RS-LOS,RS-LOF or MS-AIS alarm.

The signal sent from the upstream equipment to NR8250 equipment contains the

MS-RDI information.

The RTUB board that reports the alarm is faulty.

Handling Procedure

Check whether NR8250 uplink equipment reports alarms such as RS-LOS, RS-LOF,

or MS-EXC.

If yes, handle the alarm by referring to the corresponding handling suggestion.

If no, go to step 2.

Ensure that the signals sent by upstream equipment to NR8250 equipment do not

contain the MS-RDI signal.

The alarm is caused by RTUB board failure. Replace the board.

2.2.11 134237744 LP-RDI

Alarm Property

Alarm Code: 134237744

Alarm Information: TU Remote Defect Indication (LP-RDI) alarm. When a fault occurs

at the remote end, for example, it receives a TU-AIS alarm, it will send a message

about this situation to the local end. The local end then reports the LP-RDI alarm.

Alarm Level: Major

Alarm Type: Communications Alarm
