ZXMW NR8250 Alarm and Notification Handling Reference

Sub-code 2: The RPL OWNER port is blocked due to being controlled by the 8032

protocol.

Effect on the System

This alarm may cause traffic transmission path switchover and service interruption.

Possible Causes

The local link is interrupted.

The 8032 single-ring network is initialized.

The ring network link changes from the standby to the active.

Handling Procedure

If the alarm sub-code is 1, check the east-port and west-port link of the equipment that

reports the alarm.

Alarm Information: The notification is reported if the 8032 protocol sends a unblock

request to the switching chip and the chip is unblocked.

Sub-code 2: The RPL OWNER port is unblocked due to the SF packet being received.
