CHECKING THE VALVE SPRINGS

NOTICE

The valve spring and valve spring seat con-

stitute a set to maintain high precision.

• If either the valve spring or valve spring

seat needs replacing, be sure to replace the

valve spring and valve spring seat as a set.

• When installing the valve spring and valve

spring seat, be sure to install them onto

their original positions.

The following procedure applies to all of the
valve springs.

spring and valve spring seat as a set.
