ABSORBER ASSEMBLY

1. Install:

•

Bearing “1”

•

Oil seal

TIP

Install the bearing with a socket “2” that matches
its outside diameter.

2. Install:

•

Bushing “1”

•

Circlip

(for YZF-R1)

•

Circlip (for YZF-R1M)

•

Dust seal

TIP

Install the bushing with a socket “2” that matches
its outside diameter.

INSTALLING THE RELAY ARM

1. Lubricate:

•

Collars

•

Oil seals

2. Install:

•

Bearings “1”
(to the relay arm)

•

Oil seals “2”
(to the relay arm)

TIP

•

When installing the oil seals “2” to the relay
arm, face the character stamp of the oil seals
outside.

•

Press in the oil seal so it does not protrude
from the end surface of the relay arm.
