The Voice Initia lize function lets y ou "reset" a
voice to its initia l setting, w hich is ha ndy w hen
y ou w a nt to crea te a voice from "scra tch".
The initialized setting loads into the edit buffer, so after performing the Voice
Initialize operation, be sure to store the voice using the Voice Store operation.
1 . Enter [1 3 0 ] in the PRO GRAM CHAN GE
k ey pa d. The num ber 1 3 0 begins fla shing
in the LCD.
2 . Press [YES/ EN TER]. "Init?[Y/ N ]" a ppea rs in
the LCD.
3 . Press [YES/ EN TER] a ga in. "Ty pe? 1 -8 "
a ppea rs in the LCD. Select the tem pla te

The initializ ed vo ice setting s are lo aded into the edit
buffer. Yo u sho uld chang e the name using the N ame
functio n in the VO ICE CO MMO N menu (see pag e
8 0 ), and sto re the vo ice by perfo rming a Vo ice Sto re
o peratio n (see pag e 9 8 ).
After step 1 , pressing [ NO] will cancel the Voice Initialize operation and the LCD
will display the previously selected voice name and number.
You can give the voice a name using the Name function in the VOICE COMMON
menu. For information, see page 8 0 .
