A blank chart for writing down parameter values of user voices is provided on
page 1 1 4 .

co ded to match the related KN O B PARAMETER
G RO UP switch. Fo r example, if [VCA] (white switch) is
selected, each kno b accesses the parameter printed in
the white area to the lo wer left o f the kno b: Attack,
Decay, Sustain, Release, Feedback, Vo lume, Amo d

2 . Press a CO N TRO L k nob w ithout turning it.
The parameter name, current value and a ho riz o ntal
kno b data g raph will display in the LCD. A flashing
seg ment in the data g raph indicates the value po sitio n
o f the kno b, whereas shaded seg ments indicate the
actual current po sitio n o f the kno b.
3 . Turn the k nob one w a y or the other to edit
the va lue of the pa ra m eter.
Turning the kno b to the rig ht increases the value and
turning it to the left decreases the value.
The kno b data g raph pro vides a visual reference o f the
current kno b po sitio n as yo u turn the kno b. Leftward
po sitio ns are indicated by a sho rter ho riz o ntal bar, and
rig htward po sitio ns are indicated by a lo ng er bar.
You can omit step 2 and edit the parameter directly by turning the knob. Edit
information will display in the LCD accordingly.
Simply turning a knob will increase or decrease the parameter value in coarse
values ( large amounts) , and will cancel the flashing indicator. Turning a knob
while pressing it will increase or decrease the parameter value in fine values
( small amounts) , and will position the flashing indicator, which will remain
flashing when you subsequently release the knob. The range will be narrower
than that available by coarse edit.
4 . Edit other pa ra m eters.
To co nfirm and edit o ther parameters in the same
g ro up, simply repeat steps 2 and 3 . To edit parameters
in o ther g ro ups, repeat steps 1 thro ug h 3 .
