Control Cha nge M odes

The AN 1 x has two Co ntro l Chang e mo des. Mo de 1 is the
o fficial MIDI standard, which is set at the facto ry. Mo de 2 is
a special list o f Co ntro l Chang e parameter setting s unique to
the AN 1 x.

To  chang e between mo des, first turn o ff the po wer. Then,
press and ho ld [ASSIG N ] and press the [PO W ER] switch.
Either “ mo de1 ”  o r “ mo de2 ”  will appear in the LCD at the
start-up pro cedure to  indicate which mo de is activated.

When using Mode 2 , take care when making Control Change assignments

since the behavior will be different from the MIDI standard.

For a list of Control Change types for each mode, see the separate Data List

book.

Voi ce Re ca ll

If y ou edit a voice a nd then ina dvertently select
a nother voice before storing the edited voice,
y ou ca n retrieve the edited da ta using the Voice
Reca ll function.
