10.3.3 Advanced
Setup
A sub directory of ICoT PA, it has a group to configure limits, dead bands, cutoff and
fault state.
Deadband: Valve position dead band in general. This is used as dead band for the
travel alert, setpoint deviation alert, LCD position filter, close position
deviation alert and full stroke time measurement.
Lower Limit Valve
Position:
Lower limit for the travel alert.
The travel alert will be active if it is enable and if the valve
position is equal or smaller than this value.
Upper Limit Valve
Position:
Upper limit for the travel alert.
The travel alert will be active if it is enable and if the valve
position is equal or greater than this value.
Valve Type: Type of valve movement (rotary or linear). It has the following option:
- Rotary moving valve;
- Linear moving valve.
Setpoint Cut-off
CLOSE:
Lower level for the setpoint cut-off. The transducer setpoint
will be forced to zero if the AO.output is equal or smaller than
this value.
Setpoint Cut-off
OPEN:
Upper level for the setpoint cut-off. The transducer setpoint will
be forced to 100% if the AO.output is equal or greater than this
value.
Fault State
Value:
FAULT_STATE_VAL transducer parameter. The transducer setpoint
will be set to this value if the fault state option is set to
“FAULT_STATE_VAL” and if the AO.output.status is different from
the good no cascade.
Fault State
Option:
FAULT_STATE_OPTION transducer parameter.
10.3.4 Feedback
Configuration
A sub directory of ICoT PA, it has a group that displays the valve actual position and the
values resulting from the user defined characterization.
